BASS: BPM Smith mixes DNB live on the Internet Friday nights

The WORD'N'BASS Show is now streamed live on the Internet from 10:30 pm to 1 am PST on Friday nights. In the program, which also broadcasts in the Oakland/Berkeley/San Francisco areas on the radio at 104.1 FM, WORD’N’BASS.com Editor BPM Smith mixes a Downtempo Electronica set followed by Drum ‘N’ Bass.

BPM Smith, known primarily as a Drum ’N’ Bass DJ, has performed at club and warehouse parties throughout the San Francisco Bay Area since 2000. He has hosted the WORD’N’BASS Show since 2002. All sets during the program are performed live.

BPM Smith also mixes Trance and Electro, and pioneered a new form of spoken word -- WORD’N’BASS -- that combines electronic music with prose. In addition to the live stream, listeners can hear some of his archived sets in the audio section of this website.
