BASS:
Fleming & Lawrence a new collaboration of trance and house veterans
– with audio
After spending most of his career playing solo, longtime trance and
progressive house DJ Christopher
Lawrence (pictured below) has joined forces with John “00” Fleming of the UK under
the moniker Fleming & Lawrence. The duo announced they’ve launched
an underground dance music tour (UDM).
Fleming & Lawrence are focusing on playing
long four- to eight-hour tag team sets of progressive house, where
they’re able to gradually build a groove and take audiences on a
musical journey. In addition, they’re doing away with go-go dancers on
stage and keeping club lighting effects to a minimum in a bid to
refocus on the music.
So far, the approach has been a success, Fleming & Lawrence’s
booking agency Assured Artists said in a press release.
The duo headlined at several major venues on the global DJ circuit
recently, including Ministry of Sound in London, Govurnment in Toronto,
Soundbar in Chicago, and Avalon and Vanguard in Los Angeles, among
others.

and a joint mix collaboration that led to their joint mix album Global Trance
Grooves. As previously reported, they also released an
earlier album Global Trance
Grooves: Two Tribes.
