BASS:
Vital Elements, A-Sides launch new DNB tracks
Two of my favorite UK Drum & Bass producers are Vital Elements and A-Sides
-- whose tracks are often heard in my DNB mixes
-- but their 12" vinyl
releases always get snapped up fast when they occasionally trickle into
San Francisco Bay Area record stores. Vital Elements just completed his
debut EP for Grid Recordings that you can hear and purchase online,
along with the latest from A-Sides, the record label announced.
Vital Elements (pictured left),
whose birthname is Graham Warnock,
just released his debut track with Grid called "The Path Is Clear." In
addition to regularly churning out DNB, Vital Elements has been making
Dancehall as half of the infamous Serial
Killaz. He also has his own record label V2E Recordings.
And now if you want to get your hands on upfront promos from his label,
here
is the place to do it -- where samples of the latest work from both
Vital Elements and A-Sides (in a collaboration with Deeizm) just went live.
Meanwhile, some recent cuts from Vital Elements' V2E label include
V2E006 with the following tracks, which you can hear in the Grid
Recordings store.
A: Murder Ya Bloodclart
B: The Flying Saucer
Check out more of his beats at Vital Elements' Myspace.
Looking forward, Grid Recordings said they've got a huge 12" from Heist, as well as a long awaited
project from Twisted & Zen.
On the Allsorts imprint,
Influx UK is representing with a 12" on the label and after that
Allsorts' first full-length album project is dropping, which will
feature tracks from A-Sides, Heist and Human
Factor, among others.
